Hello, Seekers :)

We are all seekers. And we all seek One same thing. The only difference is the name we give to that One thing we seek, or the place where we think that One thing lies.

The One thing we seek remains hidden. So in our quest to find that One we explore the whole world. We seek newer experiences in hope that that One thing will be just around. We seek that One thing in our travels, in our latest gadgets (Apples and Galaxies), some larger than life movies (my favorite is Avatar, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara!) shopping, coolest cars, greatest books, hottest dresses, work, fame, alcohol, religion and what not (a growing interest in daily TV and newspaper has an undercurrent of seeking something).
All of us have that fleeting glimpses of the One. Fleeting glimpses are what keep us going and make us repeat our choices. But most of us do not get a stable, growing experience (of the One) that we need.

A very relevant question we can actually ask ourselves is why I am seeking what I am seeking. Though it may sound a bit somber but it might be good a good idea to step back sometimes and ask yourself, 'What do I seek by watching this movie, or buying that gadget or reading that book?'
One might never get a clear answer but by regularly prodding oneself with this question will make one thing clear: that we all seek something beyond that book, that gadget, that car or that dress.

And when anyone of us reaches that little conclusion, it clears a lot of smoke from our respective heads and we would have taken big steps as seekers.
